Default Wrong gear...engine cut off

Well ithink i blew it today. I was driving down the road "spiritedly" redlined third and threw it right into second. No loud bangs, the engine just cut off. It wont crank it just makes the clicking sound like when the battery is too low. almost like the engine is locked. Any help?

About the only thing that can help you now is a few grand in cold, hard cash. At the very least you've popped a few rods, I'm sure a piston or two slammed into the valves, and if you're really unlucky a few choice items were slammed through the walls. That sucks!

He did not put it into wrong gear by the way. I know the guy he is a very good driver, who owned the car for 3.5 years. The road is dead straight so there is no way in the world that he put it in wrong gear or down shift at all!!!!

Would you mind explaining how you came up with this line of reasoning?

damn, that sucks bro! Look don't loose hope a good friend of mine is the manager of a shop out in miami Dragon motorsports (DMS Racing) He told how many people have blown there engine doing the samething you did. He said that honda will replace it for you at no cost for one time only. He said most dealerships never mention it. But it's something they can do for you. Talk to them and see what they can do to help you out. Do you still have your warranty? I know theres something they can do.. Goodluck
