OMG I popped the valve cover for some work and something was rattling.....I flip it over and out fall these two marbles:

I think I heard another one drop inside the head.

Anyone have an idea what these may be or how they got in there?

Is it an F20C Pearl?

 

PCV valve might of spit them out I would remove it and see if thats where it came from atleast

 

I have the '06+ type PVC that is almost like a straight fitting. Just looked at it and it's fine. The marbles are bigger than the opening. The larger marble is ~10mm.

What's a F20C Pearl? I can't tell the material. Seems like plastic but it's heavier and hard.

 

it's too large for media blasting material, what size is that thing exactly?

 

PCV valve is all metal for AP2.

Maybe its something you or someone else dropped whenever you had the oil cap off?

I bet those are cermic beads used in media blasting now that you mention it . OP did you get your valve cover powdercoated or painted by chance ?

 

Yes it is powdercoated.

They leave that crap in there???
