I'm sure a Honda dealership would be fine with it. There'd just be an extra charge on your bill "Stuffing around with Spoon X brace: $50".

It doesn't matter which shock tower brace you use with your x-brace, since they don't serve any real purpose to begin with.

Well, much as I hate to disagree with gernby, here on the east coast driving on frost-heaved pavement and potholes, I can feel a significant contribution from my STB. I have driven with just the STB, with just the DiGrappa X-brace and with both. I can feel less chassis flex and subsequent more predictable handling with both the STB and the X-brace installed than with either alone.
To respond to the original question of the thread, I like the DiGrappa X-brace because it is a solid machined piece, fits perfectly and does not interfere with my oil changes in any way. And, for a suspension/chassis part it looks good.

The debate over what works best or if they work at all is on going and the funny thing is, I love reading all posts and opinions since I'm in the market for one also.

What I'm most likely going to go with is either spoon or muz because of their pricing but if money is not an concern to you, might consider dicappa.

By the way, anyone interested in donating to my foundation to make a suburan teenaged s2000 owner's dream come true?
$160 can go a long way....

I am going up to the Gold Coast in a few days time, and I am hoping to drop in on Muz and get both the Strut Tower Brace and the Cross Brace as well.

All I have to do now is wait for him to tell me whether he'll install it for me or not. (and at what cost).

ok well looks like i'm leaning more towards the digrappa and the muz. i dont wanna deal with all the oil change issues as it may not be much.. but muz and digrappa look as if they are pretty good products. i'll also be looking into a stb sooner or later anyway.

sang thx for all the comments

I have the Comptech brace. It's quite a bit more expensive ... same price range as the digrippa ($300). Doesn't interfere with oil changes. I also have the Comptech adjustable front sway bar.

If all you're doing is driving the car around town, I'd either skip the x-brace or get one of the low cost ones. Front sway bar and x-brace are excellent choices if you're going to auto-x or track the car. I'd skip the strut/shock tower brace.
