Gary, your post is most excellent!
I think where people were originally having problems is that, depending on where they were looking for that BLU/WHT wire, it can be found in 3 different locations. Sometimes, even with a diagram and pictures, depending upon the way each car's wiring was stuffed in there, there is a 2 in 3 chance of getting it wrong. I hope your post will make it easier for people to find the right wire.

Oh my god Magnum! This was one of the easiest things I have done. Although I had to have a GPS. I check my speedo at several speeds and averaged them and found I was 17% off. 18 in wheels, 4.57s,and a new 2004 tranny.

Set the dip switches and it is perfect. First time. Check it at 0-90 mph and there is not more than .3 mph difference.

Thanks Rick for the yellow box.

I also spliced in cabin. the B/W wire splits. one connects to ECU and the other to guage cluster. you must split before split. once you find a B/W line, follow it and see where it goes.

Dumb question: does the box also affect the odometer? I.e. if the speedo reads 10% lower, will the odo accrue miles 10% slower as well?

Yes! See this for a possible "boo-boo" when installing any of these sorts of devices:

Well, the upside (downside) of our device is that you can't do that, even if you wanted to
