Usually the people who said that were those who had more experience with cable clutch than hydraulic clutch. They thought that the hydraulic system self-adjusts itself and therefore needs no manual adjustment. Oh yeah, there ARE adjustments on the S clutch. You can adjust the pedal stop height (like relative height to the brake pedal) by adjusting the cruise-control disable switch and you can also adjust the pushrod into the master cylinder. The Helms manual has detailed specs on what to adjust to.
