10 days!
Living as I do south of the Mason-Dixon line I will be recording Sunday's STP 500 at Martinsville. 43 sedan-sized tube framed high tech racing machines running at the limits of adhesion 500 laps around a half mile track, known to fans as "The Paperclip" should be a hoot. Unlike the Desert Diamond West Valley Si'al Ke:k Phoenix Grand Prix, this race has a name I can remember for more than five minutes. And unlike F1, there might actually be passing after the first couple of laps.

Recorder's set. Hope to see a good race. And, then there's F1 the next morning.

Yeah, I understand, but any chance to see IndyCar is good enough for me. For the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, we have the best seats in the house (in my humble opinion): top row Grandstand 29, next to the Toyota Bridge, at the start-finish line, across from the pits, where they're traveling at great speed on Shoreline Drive. We have Marina parking behind our seats, so we can tailgate between events or during events we don't care for (like drifting). We also see WeatherTech sports cars that race at Daytona, Sebring, and Le Mans (so I can root for the Corvettes), Monster trucks jumping, and Pro-Celebrity. I can't wait!
