12 years
12 since May. with a whopping 54K on the clock.
as for length of ownership, guess i'm the loyal kind.
It would probably be easier to list the cars I disposed of quickly.
i had my 626 for 10 yrs, the ML320 was 16 years. my wife's '03 S430 is now 11.
as i think back on it the sweet spot has probably been ~7-8 years as we have a few that were retired in that range.

So nice to see such a bonding relationship. I had girls and we bonded in a different way but I have a 10 year old grandson and I can't wait until he can start getting involved with cars. First step will be as my helper in my detailing business so that when he gets his first car he will know how to keep it shining.
Nice write up!!
My '00 turns 14 this month also.... 131k on the odometer.....
Love it as much as when I first bought it!
Never have kept a car this long either.... longest had been my 03 RSX-S for 9 years... and 293,600 miles....

My '00 turns 15 in 2 months! Nov. '99 picked her up.
Great story. Even better good times with amazing friends at meets over the years.
Car has changed my life for sure! I wouldn't be the same person if the S was never built.
