Default 2 tough questions (from an email I got)

2 TOUGH QUESTIONS

Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant,
Who had 8 kids already,
Three who were deaf,
Two who were blind,
One mentally retarded,
And she had syphilis,
Would you recommend that she have an abortion?

Read the next question before looking at the response for this one.

Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts.
Here are the facts about the three candidates.

Candidate A:
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists,
He's had two mistresses,
He also chain smokes,
And drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B:
He was kicked out of office twice,
Sleeps until noon,
Used opium in college,
And drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C:
He is a decorated war hero.
He's a vegetarian,
Doesn't smoke,
Drinks an occasional beer,
And never committed adultery.

Which of these candidates would be your choice?

Decide first ... No peeking, and then scroll down for the response.

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Candidate B is Winston Churchill.
Candidate C is Adolph Hitler.

And, by the way, on your answer to the abortion question:

If you said YES, you just killed Beethoven.

Pretty interesting isn't it?
Makes a person think before judging someone.

Remember:

Amateurs ... Built the ark.
Professionals ... Built the Titanic

Default Unfortunately...

It's a sad fact that many opinions today are based on sound bites, tweets or fake news. One thing that I've learned is that character can't be identified by the answers to a handful of select questions.

You do know that Hitler was also a drug addict (his doctor was regularly injecting him with crystal meth - known as Previtin in those days), and he was known to be a paranoid hypochondriac(no doubt fueled by the drug addiction). You also left out the fact that minor thing he did, you know the orchestration of mass-genocide.....

All the above proves is that It is easy to paint a derogatory or flattering image of ANYONE by being selective about their good and bad points.....

I was the assistant of Emil St-Hilaire in the termination of Beethoven and I also made a campaign contribution to Hitler.

Kind of saw the answer to the second one coming. A little thinking and I was able to put two and two together and guess who the three politicians were. So I voted for Churchill.

On the first one, I figured that ninth child might be somebody famous. But I would not recommend for or against an abortion to anyone. That is far too personal a decision.

Very interesting pair of questions, given the answers.

I voted for Candidate B. Anyone who drinks that much whiskey every day gets my vote.

As for those who see it all too seriously - - lighten up, life's too short.
