Default 2014 Goals

I was talking with a friend of mine recently about the new year and what goals each of us has. I haven't made my formal list yet, but there are several things I know I want to do this year (one is losing 18 pounds and I'm already 5 pounds in the correct direction; yay!).

I'm purposely leaving this question vague and open to each person's interpretation so your answer fits your life. It can be personal, professional, health, family, financial...whatever is on your mind for goals in 2014. Post up your list and we can check back in December (or sooner for quarterly progress checks) and see how we did.

What are your goals for 2014?

Having almost decided to sell our home (SEE downsizing thread), we have nevertheless committed to each other to continue with the DE-CLUTTERING effort. This is not a huge goal in the big picture, but...hey...we are among the older

A 40+ year accumulation of "stuff" in a 3 story + basement home....is NOT a pretty sight

Finish top 5 or better on index at every regional SCCA Solo I attend.

I feel like a slacker. I have no goals. I have a wish list, but for now I will just put one foot in front of the other every day.

^Same here, Lainey. I keep thinking about possibilities in the future but they aren't goals. My son will settle in to his real life job at Google, in Mountain View and my daughter is moving to a new house in Sacramento. I'm considering another home up north but not ready to get serious. I'd like to have a significant other in my life but that's not really a goal either.

Hmmm...I love your threads so that brings me here...not qualified for vintage but I'm an old soul at times...

I don't necessary want to lose 20 lbs but I need to lose 10 and convert the other 10 into something useful *ahem* muscles...

Get further in my career...I have 1.5 more years until I have to do a Vogue shoot (I set a 5 year goal when I started photography in 2010).
Stop spending money on the S until I can buy a decent daily driver / work car - something with four doors and an H badge works for me

Hey, AlvinHuyN, looks like I could use your wing for a brownie table next Wednesday.

Well, as a part of 2014 goals I'm planning on using it as a salad bar (I'm cutting out rice)
