Default 2014 Olympics

I thought I'd start a thread for stories and comments.

Early stories make me glad I'm watching it on tv.

What caught my eye was the glass of Jim Beam . . . until I realized it was the 'water' in the dorm! And, you got'a love the sign that says don't put to toilet paper in the toilet. They must be saving it to reuse.

I'm so sick of hearing about these Olympics and they haven't even started yet. Or maybe they have. Who can tell?

It's kind of like a Presidential election. Coverage starts WAY before the event.

While I hope all the US competitors do well and all competitors are safe, I'm a non fan of the whole thing, but I'll lurk here anyway.

We’ll need to view the Olympic housing reviews afterwards -- for now, I’m certain there’s a large number of negative hyped claims by the media.

I'm going to have to find something to do for the next few weeks. The wife will be watching it non-stop or taping it when she's at the barn.

I thought the Olympic opening ceremony was terrific. The stadium floor projections and props were amazing…so was the dancing. And how did that young girl keep so poised and cool while she was hoisted way above the floor?
