My college room mate and his wife rescued 9 Bald Eagles in one day. They are both trained volunteers for the Raptor Center at the Univ of Minnesota school of Veterinary. It was discovered the birds had fed on euthanized animals in a dump. 2 died 7 made it. Here's the pictures they took. Thought I'd share. Takes a lot of courage to be an raptor handler and they are some of the best. They are releasing 4 this week and 3 next. They rescue Eagles, Hawks, Owls & Herons. They had a friend killed by a Great Blue Heron when he was stabbed in the heart.
