You can run any oil for short term. They should do a used oil analysis to really see the results and run the oil for a full oil change interval. It's like the old Slick 50 videos where they put water and dirt in the engine and it didn't blow up, lol.

I ran Castrol (castor bean) oil in my 2-stroke motorcycle for years of racing. One of the best lubricants. It just left a heavy burn deposit.
