PS You would think you would only need a 17" mattress if you were running a cat house.
I don’t understand why mattress’ keep getting thicker but you don’t get anymore spring or life out of them. Next time I’m going back to a water bed.

I have a problem with sheets because my mattresses are around 8" thick. The sheets get loose and have wrinkles across the top of the mattress since they're now made for thicker mattresses. It's not as comfortable sleeping on lots of wrinkles.

I have the wrinkle problem but it is not the sheets that are wrinkled!

The problem with the thick mattresses is you only have one wear side. no more flipping it for longer life.

We are suppose to rotate our new one every couple months. We will need a crane. Wife is at Target looking for sheets. She plans on getting a set from Lands End too..they were $150 plus shipping.

Our mattress is a combo memory foam and coil. I'm very happy with it, but it is heavy. We are supposed to rotate it the 1/4-1/2 turn too. It hasn't happened as often as recommended....

Our salesman has sold mattress for over 25 years, so he had some stories. Said Art Van sold a hybrid which was all foam except for a 1" coil, so it qualified to be called a hybrid. Most are 50/50 but not necessarily alike in construction. Can't imagine anyone keeping to some of the schedules, like monthly. I do follow it quarterly with the Hampton and I always can tell the difference. Two quarterly rotations plus a flip.

Same here. It takes two people or a crane to rotate mine.
