Alexei Navalny RIP

I seen a bunch of news videos of him during his many court appearances, where he was locked up in a defendant cage , all he could do was show signals of love to his family with his hands and lips, it was very sad to see how he was treated and kept away from his family. He made the fatal mistake of returning to Russia after his poisoning episode. There was no way he would live very long after that, especially as the current elections were coming.

God will strike you down, pull you from your home, and drag you away from the land of the living.6 The followers of God will see it happen. They will watch in awe. Then they will laugh and say,7 “See what happens to those who despise God and trust in their wealth, and become ever more bold in their wickedness.” This is directed at the dictator. Not
Alexei Navalny god bless you.

A good rad is One Day In The Life Of Ivan Denisovich by Alexander Solzhenitsyn
http://www.kkoworld.com/kitablar/ale...r_gunu-eng.pdf
While not a short story, It is not long. It describes in a first hand way the lives of the work camps in Siberia.
I think by the end of the 5th page you will understand the death of Navalny. it is appropriate to read in mid-February as well.

I won't say what I'm thinking because I don't want this thread to be moved to politics. All I'll say is that the world lost a great man. Alexei Navalny rest in peace. May your life be an example and an inspiration to all of us.

Yes that is the point of my posting this thread. Some day if the tyranny ever leaves Russia they should have a statue of Navalny in the centre of Moscow.
