Default Am I too old?

I just leased a leftover S2000(03). The lease payment was so low, it was hard to resist. Honda put a ridiculously high residual on the 03 making this an easy decision. Purchase price-$29,500 etc. My question is, am I too old at 50 to be a part of this? I have owned a lot of cars over the years including Porsche's and my other current car is an Audi RS6, The Audi is increibly fast, but though much slower, the Honda hadles like a go-cart, and seems to be a lot of fun. If it gets warm again and I can put the top down it wil be even better.

Looking at some of the posts here make me wonder if this is more of a kids toy than an adults. No flame intended but the I can afford this, and I make more money than you, and I blew the doors off of this car and that really does have me questioning whether I belong here.

I like the car and would even like to try it at the track. Any other "more mature/older" drivers/owners on here?

Try here. It's where all the old timers hang out.

Too old? Certainly not - see the Vintage Owners forum (http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/forumdisplay...?s=&forumid=117) on this website. By the way, I'm 65.

Thanks, I needed that. For some reason I thought "vintage" meant older cars not older people. I do like the term however. Thanks

I'm also a young 65. Look at my signature below - I even sporterized my Accord daily driver. You're only as old as you think you are.

Old my ass. I'm 56, own a supercharged Miata, S2000 and a MINI. I am a runner and regularly kick butt with runners in their 20's. Age is bulls..t, it's all in the mind!

Age is in the mind. As long as you can shift gears, grin ear-to ear, this car is just fine.
