Annoying Lexus ads
lexus has a couple ads out there that I find downright annoying.
first there is this one.

their marketing folks cleverly compare the 119 real data points you collect during a real crash test with the 2 million data points required to do a computer simulation.
Somehow they infer it's better and don't really state it's only a sim not a real test. anyone who has done computer modeling knows this is a load of BS.
if that isn't enough, they then become absolutely prescient in this one.

they claim to have a car that will run on any fuel, "even those that haven't been invented yet"

what have they got a Mr. Fusion hidden back there somewhere?

I'm not looking to buy a Lexus, so I hadn't even noticed their deceptive ads.
I'll pay more attention if I see a Lexus in my driveway with a big red bow on it at Christmas time, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
