Another near mass shooting
So, here we go again. Another lunatic opened fire with a AR-15 at a Waffle House killing 4. The brave young man that wrestled the rifle away from him should be hailed as a hero. It could have been much worse. He was not captured so he is a threat especially if he has more weapons. I hope he uses one on himself. I don't see any solution to these endless murders. My heart goes out to the families of these innocent victims. May they RIP.

One troubling aspect of this one is that he was arrested by the Secret Service last year at the White House with four guns which were confiscated. His father got the guns back and gave them to him.

I liked "the Hero." James Shaw Jr."I made up my mind that he was going to have to work to hurt me. He was going to have to work to kill me," Shaw said at a press conference. "I'm not a hero. I'm just a regular person," he continued. "And I think anybody could have done what I did.""I didn't really fight that man to save everybody else. That might not be a popular thing, but I have to be honest. I took the gun so I could get myself out," Shaw said. I respect his honesty.

From war fighting, personal defense, assault, rape, kidnapping, and shootings, to name a few, the history of evidence is clear: you must never give in and retreat, you must attack for the best overall survival rates.

Today it was Canada with a van in Toronto - 9 dead, 16 injured!
As for the Nashville killings, if every state had Red Flag laws the police could have taken the AR-15 rather than expecting dad to handle it all.
