Amen. When did knobs and levers for things like ICE and HVAC become a bad idea? Maybe in a few years they will make a nostalgia based come-back.

Glad Ms. GM is enjoying her new ride. Nothing like a car that makes you giggle or at least smile whenever you talk about it or thinking about it.

False alarm: I got a follow up E-mail from the Sales Manager. The car has been sold, before it got there.

Agree.... Our TLX has buttons to bring up a screen to change settings. Simple up/down toggle switches for fan speed, HVAC location, etc.. would be much more efficient.

Tonight I ran across a Youtube video that stated that on the "left coast" dealers are asking $20K over Maroney sticker (which is the term for the MSRP Sticker price). I guess that some people have more money than brains?

I'm renting a Mustang here in NY/DE/NJ. Controls are actually pretty easy, including climate control. Its just an automatic with the turbo four but it handles pretty well and the ride is good. So much better than the old solid-axle Mustangs. It was only a couple bucks more per day than a sub-compact from Budget. They also had a couple of 500 HP Camaro SS's but they were a hundred more per day and that was just too much over the week I will need the car, so it was the Mustang. Pretty nice interior with lots of soft touch surfaces and power everything. First time I've driven a car with cooled as well as heated seats. Nice.

Ecoboost. I figured it would either be that or the v6. The little blown four has decent power but under full throttle sounds like James Earl Jones with severe stomach pains. I would have happily traded the better gas mileage for the sound of the 5.0 GT. Or even better, for a Voodoo flat plane Coyote.
