I didn't think a Slinky was reliable enough to go down the stairs. I could never get one to work.

Way no matter how you spell it. Unfortunately most of my forays of that nature are purely accidental and have unintended disastrous results.

To include bleeding.

I'd shoot Jim if he built something like that in our house. I'd have to clean up all the mess. However, he's more likely to build a mini-reactor in our backyard or perhaps even some kind of nuclear powered rocket.
