I showed my photos to the sweet young lady at the front desk. She said she'd get someone to clean it up. She didn't realize it was "art" either.

I grew up reading comics and have a passion for comic art. This French artist isn't well known in the States but he's a hero in France and Belgum where his comic strips were popular for decades. They now sell huge wall pieces of his art.

This French site lists his works, etc.

Reminds me a bit of the old Speed Racer animation style.

(read in nat geo voiceover ) moving slowly now we can see the artist in her native habitat....
slowly so as not to disturb her carefully we raise our camera and squeeze the shutter...

note how she carefully incorporates the knife and palette to mix her oils to achieve the desired color.

Very nice habitat! No end to the natural lighting. I am guessing sponge painted walls. A nice upscale easel. But you need to get that lady a better chair (hahahaha).

I'm wondering out loud. Doesn't it get too bright in there at times?

I find one like this that you can adjust to the right height, lean back, and roll as needed works really well.
