Yes, he liked it and the cake was delicious. Michael figured I was making a stained glass since I've been talking about working on a project in the garage. He didn't gush over it but his personality is the calm quiet type, which is a big reason I like him. His mom died years ago but his dad, 89 years-old, was there and paid for our "linner" and margaritas. He reminded me of my dad in that he was not real chatty but would talk if I instigated it.

Thank you for sharing! I love to see that progression.

The rocks are amazing! What's she working on in the photo? A dog?

Good eyes Patricia.
'She's going to try a water color of a friend's dog. I'm curious how it will turn out. Light shades are hard to do in watercolors.
But getting the white gradient on his head is going to be really hard.

By the looks of her rocks, it'll be easy for her to get the dog right.

she's getting into the water colors.
I'm somewhat jealous that in her retirement years she has plenty of things that satisfy her for cheap.
I haven't quite figured that out.

here's her fish
