OK…Vito says he liked the colors and the class was learning to paint rocks.

Thanks, Deb.

Please tell Vito that I really like the painting of the seacoast town.

I like the colors and the rocks, too.

I think if I had to go to the bathroom I would go in Vito's just because it's a guy thing! Thanks for sharing all that. Every year us old timers learn a little more about our online members!!

" " Life Drawing Session " today! We meet every Thursday at 9:30 AM, to 12:30 PM, at The Ella Sharp Museum. It is $8.00 per session. Bring your own supplies and draw with fellow artists. Easels and tables are provided for you to use." This is my local art club . . . they meet at 9:30am. Really. Why? Looking at the site 90% look retired. Why is it so early????? $8 to draw or paint a live nude (yeah they do that even here in hick's ville) seems like a deal but they don't serve drinks. That's cause it's sooo damn early. Looking at their works, there are a couple that are good painters. Shame most are bored people needing a reason to get up. I know I don't have any inspiration for expression that early.

To be fair, this was the best of lot, so I might get there by 10 or 11am.

Rearranged the paintings in the dolphin bath to include this one…lantern on a table by the water in Key West.

And Dave, these were done over a period of years. Not that many recent ones due to COVID. No class and Vito was not painting at home. Classes started up again in 2022. So not too late to get reinspired!

My daughter and I have been to Paint and Sip classes twice before, where you get instruction with others, and all the supplies to make a painting. It's fun even if the finished project is thrown away. I've kept mine. They were acrylics each time we did it before, and over an hour drive time south of me.

This time, I signed up for a watercolors class in Loveland. My daughter drove up after working at the zoo and we went to a lousy Mexican restaurant (On the Border) before driving across the shopping center to Studio Vino. She enjoyed it even though she was a tad tense. I liked her finished painting better than my own. I got out a watercolor workshop book to play with, that I received years ago as a present. I loved watercolors but quit in about 2000. I signed up for another class in February, that's acrylic pour paint. I've always wanted to try that.

Nice job! My friend takes art lessons. She's been working with watercolors. Watercolors are a tough medium, I've heard. She is now switching to acrylics, or maybe oils?
