Audi experience
The +1 loves his Lexus and is very happy with the dealer here (the one in Alexandria). I remember Audi from many years ago when I owned one of the worst cars ever made - the Audi 100LS. Glad to know they have come so far!
Deb, I know you and Jerry and others had real issues with earlier Audi's. By all accounts (and I think you know I research things pretty good) that's changed.
One of things I didn't know about until recently was the A6 had one a major award. Like most of you I don't put a lot of stock in "X magazine's Car-of-the-Year Award", since most are slanted towards favorites for one reason or another. I sense this one might be different.
The Audi A6 won the first World Car of the Year Award (WCOTY) in 2005 in which 48 automotive journalists from 21 of the world's major automotive markets including Japan, England, Italy, China, Thailand, Korea, France, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Poland, Norway, India, Greece, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA vote. One of the steering committee members is Dan Carney, a name that should be familiar to most as he authored the book
