Default Baseball 2010

It's that time again! Single-game tickets for the Nats go on sale next week, so I've got my list of games I want to buy for this year. Four (maybe five) so far. I always get the good seats (first or third baseline), so they aren't cheap. I'm hopeful the team will do better. They've made some good trades, and also have high hopes for their new young pitcher, Strasburg.

Hoping to catch a Phillies spring training game in Florida while we are down there next month.

Is this not the year the Cubs are going to go all the way?

Go BRAVES

Got tix to four Nats games today, including an exhibition game with the Red Sox right before opening day. May add another one in June once I find out the +1's summer sked with his kids. We like going on Sun afternoon. Good seats are not cheap, but they are still about half of what a ticket to the Caps is these days.

Nats are 0-10 in spring training. Hope that changes in regular season, or we are in trouble. The +1 won't be here for the April 3 exhibition game (Red Sox), so my niece, who will be visiting with her family, is going with me. She's never been to a baseball game. The team is not so good, but the stadium is great.

It's wonderful being a Mets fan. There is no suspense or anxiety at all. On March 16th you know exactly where your team is going to be in October. No surprises, all according to the plan. It happens every year, you can take it to the bank.

Lets go mets.
