Taking out their starter who was pitching well was a big mistake that almost lost the game for them. But they are very resilient and made a phenomenal comeback. Hope it's not another 108 years before they win again. They have a talented young team and will be competitive next year.

Great comeback Cleveland. But, apparently the Rain Gods were rooting for the Cubs.

There will be some tired folks at work tomorrow. But I get to sleep in.
I keep mine in the fridge which is near the TV. Detailing a car today surprised I am not tired. Still on an adrenaline rush I guess.

Congrats to Cubs Fans and to Cleveland Fans for the stellar effort.

I have to admit to not being a huge sports fan, but I got a huge thrill when Boston won in 2004, "reversing the curse." I imagine many Cubs fans have that same feeling today.

I'd also bet it's bittersweet for some. I remember the first thing I thought of when the Sox won was that neither my father or father in law lived long enough to see the Sox win the Series in their lifetimes. They had both passed the year before.

Enjoy the win, Chicago!

Sports Illustrated is saying that last night's game was the best of all time.

I was amazed at the fireworks around here last night. They lasted for almost 90 minutes. My town is 35 miles due west of downtown Chicago but that did not stop the fireworks. Everyone in town must have used all the stuff that they had hoarded for New Years. They will all be down in Indiana where fireworks are legal to restock for the New Year. What a boon to the Indiana economy.

OK, it's now November. Isn't it time that baseaball is over??? It's bad enough that basketball and hockey last until June. At least football has a somewhat reasonable season.
