I want to know why they stopped putting the cotton filler stuff into the bottles of acetaminophen and ibuprofen bottles but still use the same size bottles as when they did include the cotton. You open the bottle and it's only half full. What's up with that? And why do they have beeping things on the plastic doors to some of the displays, like for razors or prophylactics? It's like they are alerting the entire aisle, "She's buying pink razors to shave her legs! Everybody look!" And why do I have to get a little tag off the shelf and bring it to the pharmacist and sign a little log book that basically affirms yes I have occasional allergies just to get the one brand of antihistamine that works for me?

Why? Why, I say? This is hyper-critical stuff, dagnabit! Our very way of life is in jeopardy. How will I watch the eagle cam or the hummingbirds, or discuss life insurance and my sleep loss with only half a bottle of pain killers, hairy legs, a case of the sniffles, and towels that are wrapped around foam inserts?

What is this world coming to? It's anarchy I tell you!

Why does Marie Callenders chicken pot pie... which looks like it is one serving.... have nutritional information for only half of one?

You take a quick look... and see it is only 380 calories.... but that is only for half of it!

MARIE CALLENDER'S
Pot Pie: Chicken - 16 oz
Nutrition Facts
Serving Size 1 cup (200g)
Servings Per Container about 2
Amount Per Serving

Why does bottle water need to have nutritional info on it?

Calories
Total Fat
Sodium
Total carb
Protein

Are we really that clueless that we don't already know each one is a big 0?

I'd better be quiet and let this thread get back on topic!

But RMurphy started the off topic bit!

That's my story and I'm sticking with it!

LOL! The initial post was, as I'm sure you have surmised, intended to be completely whimsical and for amusement purposes only. So really, it's just a thread about nothing. Not that I want to be like Seinfeld or anything. It's just an observation. As we get older, we observe things. Sometimes we even learn from them. Not me, mind you. I never learn.

Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah... thread about nothing.

I think the pot pie info is just wrong. Surely they know you're gonna eat that whole thing. How could they think you wouldn't? Those B@st@rds!

hmmm, they seem to be missing the emoticon I had in mind for here.

So here is something else instead. No soup for you!

But oh... then they add the cream pie pic and suggest we try it? Oh no. It's an evil plot! A trap.

It's EVIL! Just like BB&B! (see what I did there?)

Wonder if the "mini" cream pie is 2 servings?

Conspiracy anyone?
