With our schedule, you can't say Hawaii should be in the championship game, but I'm glad they got the invite to the Sugar bowl. I believe they deserve that much. UH and it's paltry 2.2 mil football budget vs. Georgia and it's expected 70 million expenditures for 2008!

I'm not convinced even an 8 team playoff could settle all the arguments about nos. 1 and 2 this year. All I can say is:

Even as a Ohio State fan, I would have preferred the Rose bowl. These kids are young. I think there are three seniors on the team. If they do pull this off, it will be great, and if they don't, look for a really great team next year.
As far as who deserves to be there, you can argue that forever. There obviously was no clearly dominate team.
