Default The Bear

The bear showed up this morning walking around someone's catamaran at the Naples Yacht Club. That's a couple blocks from our business. Then it wandered around up by our store. We had no clue until a guy comes in and asks to use our phone to call the cops. The bear was next door. Last we heard they found where the bear was hanging out and are trying to trap it.

A couple of campers in Banff Alberta were killed along with their dog by a bear, they had to kill the bear , I have mixed feelings about that event. Trapping is a great idea if there is no risk to humans. I never thought of bears being a hazard in Florida but I know they can exist there, they must be hot as well with those big fur coats

I can't bear the thought of how hot it is for a bear in FL.

That was a grizzly. Big difference between black/brown bears and grizzly’s. Still wouldn’t push my luck with any kind of bear.
