Default Bedsheets

Have we talked about bedsheets before? If so, I can't find the discussion.

What kind of bedsheets do you like?

It seems that they just don't make them like they used to, and I have a hard time finding ones that we like.

I really don't care for the microfiber ones that much, especially in the summer. In the past, I often preferred 100% cotton, but that doesn't seem to be available much anymore.

Any suggestions?

You know bedsheets are something that I don't think I ever bought for myself or ever gave much thought to but now that I think about it I should as I spend basically a third of my life lying on them.

Restoration Hardware has wonderful vintage wash sheets, but they are now so expensive I will not buy them. So here is a good alternative. I bought these not long ago - very affordable and I like them a lot. Several different colors.

I also have a hard time finding sheets I like. In the summer I like crisp cotton and fleece in the winter. Right now I have Costco's Charisma Microfiber Sheets on my bed. I like them but I don't love them. I should put the cotton ones back on and see how I like them. I love getting into fleece when it's cold but they tend to pill. Summer won't leave here. When I was driving yesterday it got up to 100*. It's currently 94* and will be hotter.

I just found this cotton sheet set on Costco.com. It's under the While Supplies Last category. I might buy them since they're easy to return.

The sheets are smooth and not thick and soft like cloths for cars.
