Bedsheets
My favorite set we have out of all the ones we have had are Simply Vera brand that we bought at Kohls. They are 100% egyptian cottom but the part I like best is how heavy they are. I really like a heavy bed sheet since I am one of those that like to be covered up but get hot at night and tend to throw the comforter off myself. I like those really thick heavy sheets you get at decent hotels and these are similar. Super comfy and very durable.
I have to say one of the nicer sheet sets I've slept on was by Frette.com . They are a turkish producer.
When we stayed at the American club out in Kohler they used them.
I absolutely loved their towels and bought a bunch (on sale) which I am still using 7 years later.
Their products tend towards they upper end in pricing,

I like Pima cotton for clothes from Lands End or LLBean but I don't like it for my sheets. I find it too smooth. I like Egyptian for my sheets in the warm weather. I like microfiber in the cold months. I don't know much about fabric but I know what my skin likes.
I don't know how Pima cotton is for sheets, but I've purchased shirts of that type of material and they shrink like heck, even if I don't put them in the dryer.
I'm not too particular on sheets. Some of ours definitely needed replacing. Purchased two sets from Macy's the other week and I'm happy with them. High thread count and felt a little heavier than some of our other sheets. So far so good. I'll buy them again if they hold up as well as I think they will.

here's a read for you on Pima. https://mysleepingguide.com/what-is-pima-cotton/
We sell a lot of nano microfiber. The cooling fabric works and it's a very light smooth texture. Because it works with evaporation, it has a tendency to smell and need washing sooner. It has revolutionized many outdoor sports. We still prefer cotton sheets.
