Whatever you guys decide - if you make it up here in October I'll let you drive mine if you let me drive yours.

Hint: If things go according to plan my car will be very different by then.
Well as hard as I lobbyed for the S, you're going to be driving 350Z when we come up there. We got it last night. I'm a little bummed but it is a nice car, and if it will get her on the road with me it will be worth it.

I can understand that. Martha isn't crazy over long drives in the S either. But she's in for a treat as we're leaving in the S for CT in ten days and a wake-up.

The upcoming weekend or the one following it? We're up for a trip as long as it's not an over-nighter.
We have a wedding this weekend, but maybe we can find a place in between and meet for lunch one weekend, either before you head North or after. I'm anxious to get this thing on the road.

It looks like we'll have to make it for after we come back. We're leaving for CT Aug. 5, early AM and returning Aug 15.

Congrats on the new car. I guess you'll be able to hang out with a better class of people now.

You mean a slower class of people. Even though this thing has 300 hp, it still feels sluggish after driving the S for so long. I haven't had a chance to push it a little, break in and all that stuff. I think it has a drive by wire accelerator, seems to be a little lag coming off the gas. Gonna have to do some learnin..

I'm not so sure about that, Dean.

The Z trunk is no where near as spacious as the S's. It's OK for one overnight trip. When he doesn't have enough room to pack clean clothes and underwear for more than a day, he may not be welcome in he circle of the "better class."

That's true. You'd think with a big back end like that there would be some space in there. It looks just big enough for golfclubs.

Ewwwww. You may be right. I may be white trash, but at least I wear clean underwear, if I ever wear 'em.

Look at the bright side. At least you've got plenty of torque. How does the clutch pedal feel? It struck me as kind of funky when I drove one when I was car shopping in 2004.
