We all know that most stores have super sales for the early birds on Black Friday. Are you/ did you plan a shopping trip to take advantage of the sales? What was the "special" that enticed you to get up early?
As for me I hate putting up with the crazy crowds so I plan on sleeping in and pass till another day.

We're planning a special trip, all right -- down to the south tip of Florida, to Everglades Nat'l Park. Our hope is that everyone else will be at the sales. HPH

Heading out later in the AM with my sis. I need nothing that I will stand in line for, so if it's crazy we're outta there.

I've never done the early AM Black Friday shopping, but I have a sister who really gets into it with her family. She does end up with some great presents for her family at a huge savings.

New response. I will not be sleeping in. I forgot that our new treadmill is being delivered sometime between 7:30 and 9:30 in the am. YAY -- I'm looking forward to it.

 

I'm detailing a car tomorrow so I wont have time to shop. Wife shops on-line and gets good deals and free shipping. Cant stand the crowds and parking issues. I think she is 75% done on her shopping for Xmas anyway. We have outlet stores galore at the beach and most of the stuff is overpriced crap that the merchants discount by 50-75% making you think you are geting the deal of a lifetime.
