Default BMW roadster plant tour

Sue and I had the pleasure last month of touring the Toyota assembly plant in Georgetown, KY. and we were very impressed with the quality and mechanical ingenuity exhibited in the plant.

I came across this "virtual" plant tour of the BMW manufacturing and assembly plant in Greenville, SC. The virtual tour is very detailed and thorough.

I wish Honda had something similar for the S2000 I did visit the Marysville, OH plant a few years ago where they assemble Civis, Accords, and the Accura sedans, but it wasn't as impressive as the Toyota or BMW tours.

Maybe they do if you go to the plant in Japan that builds the S.

That was impressive and interesting. It's just a shame their sports car is so ugly.

I've taken the tour of the BMW plant in Greenville. It's worth doing if you are in the area, but you have to make reservations ahead. They have a nice display of motorcycles and racecars in the lobby too.
