Bring your camera!
If you're coming to the Spring Fling, or going to any of the other great meets that are planned for this spring and summer, bring your camera. Take plenty of pictures and post them here. That is how we celebrate our attachment to our great little sportscar and to each other. Photos are how we share the meets and events with all of the people who couldn't attend.
Take lots of people pictures. That is the essence of Vintage, the people. But, take photos of the cars, the drives, the scenery and everything else too.
Have fun at all of the meets, bring home lots of pictures and post them.

Well, you know what camera I'm bringing...
But I did see some great pics on the Carolina forum using a Nikon D70 with the kit lens package. Not sure now much that costs, though. Need to go back to my original thread on digital cameras and read it again.

Nikon D70
I'm drooling over that one, Tom. Is it the one we tried my lens on at Fall Colors? I believe my Coolpix 5700 uses the same batteries and I know my Nikon 8008S lenses will fit it. May have to bite the bullet soon...
Hey, where are those cat pictures?

When you're ready to buy try B & H photo (I think it's B&Hphoto.com). They're usually very good in price and they are a legimate camera store in New York.
Just make sure that no matter where you buy it, you get a valid USA warranty. Sometimes dealers (especially online and many that you see in the back of some of the camera magazines) will import grey-market cameras and sell at a lower price, but these don't have a USA warranty.
Nikon will NOT warrant a non-USA camera sold in the USA.

One never knows what "photo OP" one will have. This one is from SF04 and George (GFactor) has assured us we will not be able to take a picture like this one at SF05.
