Default Cedar Point wild coaster

Perhaps we should consider next years (2005) Spring Fling to be a road trip to Cedar Point in Ohio?

Check this coaster out. It is the world's fastest: Zero to 120 MPH in four seconds and the highest at 420 feet!

I have the need for speed and I am going to have to do this!

Has anyone been there and done that? Let me know.

I have a Power Point slide show that I was sent that turned me on to this. The still images from the top of the ride that must have been taken by a maintenance or construction worker are better than this video. If anyone wants me to send it too them e-mail me at mjanowicz@cox.net and I will send it too you. If you do not have Power Point the viewer is a free download from Microsoft.

Cedar point has been on my to do list for a LONG time. I have a list of all the coasters around the country I want to try and there's more than one at Cedar Point!!

As I get older, I'm losing my ability to tolerate coasters, so I'd better get there soon.

I'd definitely have to consider coming east for this drive

Ooooooh, I could get into this. I love coaters, especially wooden ones. Put me down for this one.

I don't do barf rides. (Weak stomach.) Is this a barf ride? I'm not sure if it qualifies. I'm up for a Spring Fling though! Ohio? Never been there.

Funny. This is less than 2 hours away and I haven't been there in years. Maybe we can add a Route 26 run in combo with this.

How is spring weather in Ohio? Does it rain a lot? I'll have to get a rain coat. Or what do you people do when it rains a lot? I really don't know. <ducksandcovers>

We either put the top up or get wet.

So what is the general consensus? Zero to 120 MPH in four seconds has GOT TO BE a rush! And right up the alley of our S2KI community with the need for speed.

They have a similar coaster here at Knotts Berry Farm called the Xcelerator; it's not quite as tall or as fast... but

I have no complaints. what a ride!
