You know I never noticed that. Could we always click on the badges? Pretty cool...

Why are they calling us a club? I don't understand the difference. I would think that s2ki is a club and everything else is a forum within that. I obviously don't know the full story here, but what difference does a name make?

Well, Tim, it's kinda complicated. If you didn't read the "Vintage Forum Moved to Special Interest", it might shed some light. Then again, maybe not. Rob (ralper) and I made a pledge to put the whole "club" controversy behind us and move forward. But you are right, the name doesn't make any difference. It's the community spirit and enthusiasm that makes Vintage what it is.

I'm not going to say anything here because we want to put all of it behind and I don't want to light the fires again.

Whatever we are called, we are still Vintage. Our location has changed, but nothing else.

I just realized I'm coming up on my one year anniversary next week...quite alot has happened since I joined s2ki last Nov. Seems like yesterday. But the best part definitely has been since we formed the beginnings of Vintage last spring and then became "official" during the summer. I've really enjoyed the camaraderie I've found here and being able to meet some of you in person. I don't think it will be too much of a challenge to carry on into the future. With a group like this (and growing!) we can't go wrong!

And to add to PWRMKR's "new" badge...we can be the Old Farts and Old Tarts!! It won't all fit though, so let's just leave it as Vintage...

The first 3 weeks I was here I thought vintage is for members who have vintage cars. Isn't that funny.

Yeah, we went around about that. Which is why the badge has Vintage Owners in one typeface and S2000 in another. Probably still some confusion though.
