Text and smilies in a sig read fine. There was a graphic link in a post in the previous page (dave22) that also shows. PWRMKR's dashboard shows, but doesn't animate. Badges do not show at all.
Also, smilies do not animate, whether in body or sig.
Probably the firewall (actually plural, because there is also a wireless hub).
Too much technology.

To get back on track: you've got to be able to see the badges to click on them. For most, that is not an issue, so it's a good way to spread the word.

Deb and I have asked Mark (PWRMKR) to revise the badge to reflect the fact that we are soon to be classified as a club. With his usual skill and talant, Mark has come up with this: Please post here to let us know if you like this revised badge, and if you think we should start using it.

Rob, I am abstaining from the vote...either way is OK with me.

I just did a quick sample of the Regional Club badges and only found one that calls themself "club" on their logo Many call themselves "owners", one uses "owners club", and many just use "XXXX S2000"
With the proposed new future Club format, I would expect Vintage to be prominently located under a new subheading...perhaps with other non-region-specific clubs

IMHO, I think that a signature link (see below) will be much more influential in "spreading the Vintage story", or the little sub-heading that xviper has already incorporated into his signature block.
As a matter of fact, I'm having trouble figuring out why none of the other Vingtage Regulars have not implemented one or the other of these interim "advertisements"
Either method takes about 60 seconds and can easily be undone if you don't like the effect

I think it's just a matter of time before people find us again if they are interested. It could be that some were turned off by the whole club controversy, either temporarily or permanently. I hope not. The other thing I told Rob is that some threads were related to Fall Colors. Once that was over, those went away.

Two newbies signed up today with one coming on Sat after he picks up his car. So that is encouraging to me. All in all, I think we are fine! And getting better with age of course...But if anyone has other promotional ideas, let's hear 'em!
