What's a front license plate?

We have one, but it resides in our trunk. We (meaning +1) has been stopped a few times while driving the S. Fortunately, the lack of a front plate hasn't caused an issue.

Here's a link to his thread from Up State NY

License plate magic

He lists where you can buy the parts/components.
NY thread ^^^ also has install pics at the end.

For only $40 for the manual version, anyone in a 'front plate' state should be able to spring for one Furthermore, the "install" w/o electrics would probably be 15 minutes

Same here, I've been fortunate to not have been stopped for no front plate.
