Default Chicago Nov 2018

We were in Chicago this past weekend for my nephew's wedding. Had a great time. Neither of us had ever been, so I booked an architectural river cruise with Chicago's First Lady. It's rated among the top 10 tours in the US. Amazing. Ninety minutes of nonstop talk about all the buildings we were seeing from many different architectural styles/eras. Photos below.
Also will get some from the +1. He took some weddings pics, too, which may or may not show up here. My two grandnieces were in the procession. They looked adorable. Probably have a good pic of them. To be cont'd...

WARNING: Many pics of buildings. If you don't like buildings, you won't like this thread. Those lowrise glass condos pictured cost about $2.5M each. I thought the marina under the buildings was very cool. Two sailboats came out of there while I was looking down at the river from our room and they opened all the bridges so they could sail out of the city. One bridge (Dearborn) was right below me so I got to see that one open up close. And the next one, too.

Thanks...it was cold on Fri but wedding day was not bad - about 50. Always windy, of course.
