Do you still have your class rings? High school? College?

Do they fit? If so, do you wear them? If you don't wear them do they just sit in a drawer? Do you keep the ring(s) for sentimental reasons?

I still have my high school ring. Fits on my left hand, but I never wear it. I've kept it but don't know why. I guess I figured some day I'd give it to my granddaughter. The ring is old fashioned and rather bulky compared to newer style class rings for ladies, not even sure a teenager would want it.

The "gold for money" people are coming back to town....I may go see what it's worth....

 

I still have my college ring, which I no longer wear. I lost my high school ring before I graduated HS and I never replaced it.

 

I still have my class rings, I can't get them on my finger's anymore. They are just in my jewelry box with watches, cuff links, and other things I'll probably never wear again. I haven't worn a watch since I retired.

 

My high school class ring disappeared from a college dorm room decades ago. I never bought a college ring: graduated at the age of 47 after attending 3 different colleges.

 

I never saw the point in buying a class ring. At the end of both high school and college I was ready to leave those parts of my life behind. I knew I would never wear the rings if I bought them.

Selling class rings to the incoming freshmen would make more sense to me.

 

Very economical, but didn't the rings have the year you graduated on them? Ours did.

 

I have rings from high school, air force, college, marriage - don't wear any of them. Hey, head shrink, what's that tell you?

 

Ours did too. But even being vintage now, I can still remember which years those were without resorting to looking at a ring.

 

Never bought any, couldn't see spending the $.

 

Do we have a shrink around here? If so he/she must have a field day with us.
