Never joined. No real desire to connect with people I went to school with.

My sentiment exactly.

Actually, the biggest annoyance isn't the computer. I can always send the e-mails to the junk box. I hate the fact that I get all of this spam on my Blackberry.

I've come to rely very heavily on my Blackberry but the e-mail box (both my personal and professional) seems to get filled with spam every day. I find it bothersome to have to pick through all the spam to get at the few valuable e-mails. Unless I want to delete all of the mail I have to delete them one at a time. Considering the amount of spam I get it becomes a real pain.
Spam in the BB is a real pain in the neck. Deleting spam one at a time in a BB takes a couple of clicks per e-mail and if you have nine or ten spam e-mails in a morning, it really clutters up the screen.

Do you folks use the same email for these websites as you do for your daily email?

My facebook email is not the email address I would use for more "important" stuff.

I'd rather not wade through a bunch of junk email to get to the "real" emails I want to read. I'll check the other email at my leisure.

I emailed them and told them that i had unsubscribed and now telling them by email that i do not want to receive any more information. After two notices it seemed to stop.
PS - they are the worst offenders in my opinion. Everyday i was getting something from them.

Classmates.com is currently facing some kind of class action lawsuit for something. I'm not sure what it's all about, but I got a notice in the mail from some law firm.
I signed on to the site when I was laid up with my leg. I didn't find much interesting on the site, so I deleted the account shortly thereafter.

Not realistic, I suppose...but you could get rid of your Crackberry addiction. I was so glad when the +1 didn't have one anymore. I looked into Classmates.com some time ago, but most of the peeps I was interested in knowing about weren't represented. That ended that. They are now on my spam list.

I joined Classmates.com many years ago and never thought much about it after that. I went to my 35 yr HS reunion a couple of weeks ago, which was completely organized on facebook, and had a blast. I was a geek in HS, but a well-liked geek

Can't do it. I need to be in touch with my clients even when I'm away from my computer. I like getting my personal e-mails when I'm away from my computer.

I have several email accounts because I like to keep things organized, as an example
I rarely if ever do something personal through my work address
I rarely if ever do anything but KNAPP Sporting Roadster Tour through my yahoo account
If I'm not interested in working on KSRT, I just do't open that account
