Default Crazy Weather

Last week we had a day in the mid 80s, the very next day the thermometer never got above 59*. Right now it's 49*. April was more like May and May so far is more like early April.

What's going on?

It is within the statistical mean for observable weather.

As far as "global warming", that is a natural occurrence as we are in an interglacial period called the Holocene of this ice age. The current ice age we are in, but actually is declining, began 2.6 million years ago at the start of the Pleistocene epoch. As the earth leaves an ice age, a warming trend, global warming if you will, occurs.

Water vapor is by far the biggest factor in greenhouse gas, about 97%. Carbon Dioxide is about 3%. Of that 3%, mankind (includes Russia, China, India) creates 3% of CO2. That means man is responsible for .0009 of the top greenhouse gasses. ( .03 x.03 = .0009) Nature is the king of greenhouse gasses. Your weather is actually "normal".

Either that or the zombie apocalypse.

Rob's in Jersey, how the heck can you tell if it's the zombie apocalypse and not just normal NY commuters?

Hey, us New Yorkers/New Jerseyites are perfectly normal. It's the rest of the country that we have to worry about.

Thanks for the insight. I was about to believe what 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists agree upon: The amount of water vapor in the atmosphere exists in direct relation to the temperature. If you increase the temperature, more water evaporates and becomes vapor. And when something else causes a temperature increase (such as extra CO2 from fossil fuels), more water evaporates.

Maybe the results of their studies and leanings are a result of peer pressures.

Really, you really think those climate scientists are telling the truth, how foolish of you. They are just trying to scare you for no good reason.

Our winter rains finally ended just last week. This Tuesday we set a new record for 94 degrees. No spring, right into summer.
