Gene, today is the Long Beach parade. Just dropped the Honda off at the staging area and caught a ride home for a bit. Crowd is down a bit this year, so far as there is a storm system just to our south, with a light drizzle in our area. Supposed to clear out tonight and be nice the rest of the week. I will get some more pics back at staging in a little while..

Scoots, that was one of my favorites, too. Although the Opel was really spectacular inside and out.

Dave, I stand corrected. BTW, I didn't say so but other than nice wires, I also really like the Minilites. My Watanabes are not quite as nice but they were way less $.

Mark, that is very cool. Love to see old one-owner cars. Wish my old 79 was a one owner, but I couldn't afford an Accord when they were new.

Bill, I agree. The week is dominated by muscle cars and hot rods but you don't have to look far to find something of interest no matter where your taste in old cars happens to run.

Lainey, yeah. I saw your pics. Such a shame a nice lady like you has fallen pray to the evil charms of Porsche.

Some more pics from Cruise Central today. Would have taken a few more but I forgot to bring an extra battery for the camera.

Isn't there a song about a pink Cadillac?

I wonder how much this missing "H" would cost to replace. More than a buck or two, I'd wager.

I couldn't push Dave's buttons with the aftermarket rims on the MGA. Maybe I can get LB with the V8 stuffed into this pretty Healey.

One of the many really clean rods there today. We get 'em from all over. This one's from Indiana.

Bit of an alignment problem I'd say...proof that the owner does "drive em."

Most likely parallax.

[Edit] Oh, you mean the tread. Yeah. Missed that.

Today started out at IHOP for breakfast. (All the good local places are full of cruisers.) This event contributes 40 million dollars to the local economy. Certainly seems to be keeping IHOP busy...

Then it was on to the Biloxi Block Party, the big Wednesday event. Kind of like Gulfport last Sunday only more cars. Here are some shots from a second story porch to give you an idea of the cars and the crowd. Except these shots only take in about a fifth of the Biloxi event site.

Note the abundant parking available in the lot, upper right. That; was the lot that charged 20 bucks to park, the only lot to charge anything at all.

Here is a small part of the crowd...

Here are some shots from Biloxi.

And in the back, an old Cushman bike.

Cushman parking enforcement vehicle.

Happy, happy, happy.

"It's just a Pinto"

Sweet Karman drop top with Fuchs rims.

Rare-ish split window Vette.

Really old Olds. That thing sticking up is a tiller.

Original frame. The rest, not so much. Still...

VW. Camber "for safety". Yeah.

Must have been Rat Rod day, too.

Texas Style

Must be a golfer.

King Rat. Powered by a BIG twin turbo Detroit Deisel.

King Rat from the back. Oh, it's from Pigeon Forge, the Mecca of good taste in tourist traps.

Not everybody was in Biloxi. Plenty of Cruisers were next door on the streets of Ocean Springs, including...

This old Peerless...

and this other "P" car.

And plenty of cruisers decided to stay in the shade at Cruise Central in Gulfport.

Sweet Fiat 2000

Not a kit. At least I don't think so.

Apparently, if you display a VW, it must look like it has gone a million miles carrying stuff on the roof.

And if you have a rust hole, just make it a show feature...

Back to the pretty stuff...

This shot was actually taken in 2023...

An actual P-car:

Remember?

A little Nash Rambler

Here come the Judge!

Judge tach. What, only 5500 RPM?
