Actually, I got it backwards. It makes my chest deeper and puts hair on my voice. But Val's right: I'm also really, really anti-oxidated. HPH

. . . What a cocktail, Dr. C -- Rogaine and Viagra. Live and learn!
I don't think I've ever seen that on the menu at Starbucks though.

The lady at Subway use to do that for Mrs. GM3 and myself every Saturday afternoon, but we have switched to Quizno's over the past few months.

Me too, especially their iced coffee. I put away a bunch of that stuff when I'm up north, then spend the rest of the day doing my best Don Knotts impression.

That is great customer service when they "know" you and cater to your desires without having to utter a word.
I have unfortunately run into that Doggie Hoser, who told me to lay off caffeine. But even that depends on which doc you listen to. My PCP who I have been seeing for 27 years said that coffee is ok for me, just do not over do it.
I also am a fan of stonger types. A double expresso with a sliver of lemon skin is my drink. Although I have indulged in double shot latte's.

For three years I spent the summers in Israel doing archeology. I had to get used to the coffee there; very very strong and very very sweet. Like Turkish coffee. I don't normally take sugar or cream in my coffee, but I do like Israeli coffee. The only other coffee you can get there is instant coffee, Nescafe or something .. (unless there is a Starbucks in Tel Aviv now!)

How slow am I? I just realized that this thread is about coffee not a place that knows your order when you walk in. Not being a coffee drinker, I didn't understand the 'buzz' reference, sorry.

Apparently not any more, Jim. They went there in 2001, but the Israeli economy took a downturn and they left in '03. I've read it is the only city in the world where Starbucks opened and then closed, but I don't know if that is true.

Starbucks leaving Israel
