Can any of you detailing pros suggest something to get rid of black mildew on a tan vinyl top? (This is what happens if you keep the car outside under a car cover too long.) Obviously I would like something that won't discolor or bleach out the top.

Emil, I know RagTop has a really good rep and their site says it can "retard the growth" of mildew. If Ray doesn't offer a better alternative I will get me some. Should have done so long ago.

 

Try ‘Eau de Javel’

 

That would definitely eliminate the mildew. But it would also eliminate the color wherever it fell or was applied.

 

Diluted ???
