^Glad to hear that. I agree with your earlier comment about Matrix. I thought the first one was absolutely a gem. It was a masterful film with unique camera angles. I thought every single line spoken in that film was just right.

I just watched that on Friday night. I really enjoyed it - but I enjoy most docs.

Did you watch the bonus? I think it was called "Of Penguins and Men" or something like that...it was very good and was about the guys that shot the film.
We did watch the bonus, at the end of the movie. They were showing the camera work in the midst of all those penguins. Absolutely amazing...now the +1 and I, instead of kissing, sometimes bend our necks and touch foreheads. We call it "the penguin".

How about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? We rented it on Saturday night, and it put Andy to sleep. I finished it but it really was only because I wanted to see how it ended. How did you like it, anyone?

I was watching Hitchhikers Guide to Galaxy for about 15 minutes and had to give up. I should have given it more chance but I just couldn't hang with this one.
I read a great review of this movie that summed it up this way: "They were remarkably faithful to the book except for keeping any of the jokes." Sad but true. It was almost as though someone thought the plot was the important part about HHGTTG.

Pride and Prejudice was one of the best film adaptations of a novel that I've ever seen. Somehow they managed to cut 2/3 of the story and still made it true to the spirit of the novel. I think it was due to the fantastic acting of KK and MM.

I was surfing around on my HDTV channels over the weekend and ran across the end of "Shakespeare In Love" -- and was reminded of how much I liked it. As far as I know, it was an original script, and it was based on a very clever concept and well executed. I may have to add it to my little collection. HPH

It was very disappointed in HHGTTG and surprised since DNA was directly involved in the making of the film.

Via a seance? He may have been involved in some of the early script treatments, but he died well before the final version was decided upon.
