Rick watches that one. I have to tune out. They got so excited finding buttons and coins (?), yet nothing seems to change. Didn't realize it had been on that long!

 

I've been binge watching "New Amsterdam" on Peacock I guess it's still on on NBC? They've had a few good cliffhangers...Ending of season 1 and surprises in Season 2.

 

The History Channel has an interesting series playing - Toys the made America - that we taped. We watched the first show tonight. Very good.

 

Watched the 95th birthday special for Tony Bennett w/Lady Gaga twice! Once with Vito, who also loved it. Lady G really has the pipes. And Tony sang very well, also. They are really sweet together. Pretty amazing how he is able to sing from memory when he has a fairly advanced case of Alzheimer's. See it if you can!

 

Any Yellowstone fans ? What about 1883?. It was advertised as only being available on Paramount +, but its seems Paramount will air at least episodes 1 and 2....

 

Love their meetings. I think one episode was about building the meeting room!

 

We tried watching Yellowstone but didn't care for it. Still I have friends who think it is a great series.

 

the writers just need to get civilized with the cast's language. No need to say the F word.

 

For Patty - I watch HGTV a lot, and House Hunters has an episode coming up on 12/29 (at least here) about a couple looking for a house in Loveland. It is S (Season) 208, Ep (Episode) 6.

 

My son and I just finished watching all 5 seasons of "The Wire". I thought is was very good, even if a bit of it was far fetched. I thought the first 4 seasons were very good, the 5th season was good but not as good as the first 4. Lots of character development, lots of characters to like, lots to hate. All in all a very good TV series.

An aside to this is that the final episode of the series was much, much better than the final episode of the Sopranos.
