Default Do you care about the olympics?

I'm just not feeling it this year. Maybe it's gotten to be to much hype and show and not enough about the athletes.
So how do you feel about the London Olympics?

I'm not feeling it either, Bolt. I think it has become all about the show for one thing and for another thing its all about an athlete or two making a zillion bucks after the Olympics. I will try to catch some of it, but I will not be weeping over it if I miss it.

Don't care. My wife watched the opening show, or whatever the hell that was supposed to be last night. I won't be watching or following any of it.

Having been a serious volleyball player for 20 years, I'll probably catch some of the VB games. Other than that track and field should be interesting, and to a lesser extent, swimming. I would like to catch some of the weightlifting as well.

Not that interested anymore, too commercialized like most sports these days.

I have an interest in the cycling events, swimming and some track & field. I agree the opening ceremonies were not great and the commercialization is a PIA.

My +1 is watching the equestrian events on live stream on the pc. She is really enjoying it. It's great that sports like this where the American's are not ranked is finally available for fans. Last I heard the US team was in 7th place and the highest individual was 19th. Only bad part is she hogging 'my' Mac.
