I had to chuckle and think of our southern belles...when I saw this comment:

I almost always waved when in mine. You don't wave at those abominations with rectangular headlights, do you?

 

I always give the other S the vtec V. Usually they wave back but often their expression tells me that they don't know why they're waving back.

To other S2000s the vtec V, to other sportscars (unless the owner is obnoxious) a thumbs up.

 

For those of you that think that S2000 owners are anal. The Jeep people have a heirarchary?

 

Someone in my area has a black S2000. I have only seen him once and yes we both waved. The majority of people in my neighborhood have Corvette's, Mustangs, and a few Z4's.

I always wave like a lunatic, but have never honked. Most of the time, the other driver is oblivious and doesn't see me.

 

I flash the lights and wave, no honking. I don't get much response from S drivers , but Miata drivers seems to always wave back.

 

For me, flashing has always been a Porsche thing; I'm not much of a honker, so I normally use the wave.
