Does anyone know anyone
Does anyone here know anyone who has an interested in a circa 1978 Canon F1 set up?
Rick has one that he no longer uses, in excellent condition. He's got the 50 mm lens, a zoom, a macro, and one other lens as well.
I looked on ebay and found a camera body only. I looked on Craig's list and found a similar set up for sale at $350.00.
Not sure if anyone here knows someone who collects this stuff or has an interest in older film cameras. I realize just about everyone has gone digital, but you never know....

Every Canon camera since the EOS-1 in 1989 requires an EF or an EFS mount. You can in some rare cases get a very rare adapter and mount some very specific Fd L lenses namely to the current EOS line but you will lose autofocus. You can use the EF mount on all current bodies but you cannot use the EFS on some of the current bodies.
You can also do it the hard way,
